The title serves two purposes...1- I'm getting used to this blogging deal and 2- I'm getting used to being here in China!
Welcome! To those of you who will be checking in on this journey of mine over the next month. You will have to bear with me as I do not think I am the best journal keeper and not real good with details. I would much rather tell you this in person! BUT...I will do my best. I will keep you posted through word, picture and video. So one way or the other, you will get the big picture!
I am currently 7 days into my trip here to Beijing. It has been a hectic adventure getting here, but I am here (there is a whole different post, maybe I'll put on for ya!). For those of you who are not familiar with this trip...I am one of the 3 volunteers from NSU coming here for the Olympic games. I decided to come a week earlier and do a bit of site seeing on my own and visit a few classmates from Northern: Jing Gu and Lin Lin! I have to give them a shout out, because they have made this last week AMAZING! I love them and I am very thankful that they have taken time out of there days to accommodate me...thank you!
This is my first post...to get the juices flowin' and get the hang of this blogging deal. I have a weeks worth of info to put on here, so stay tuned and I will get you a bit of that here in the near future. I am going to do my very best to keep up to date, so that it is worth your time coming on here and checking this out. For those of you who know me...that will be a task all on its own! No worries, I will prevail...haha. Until next time...
